Permanent Resident Card

• Education
• Housing
• Health
• Money and Finances
• Transportation, Communications and Media
• Becoming a Canadian Citizen
Vancouver Formosa Academy offers a wonderful educational and cultural experience. Along with interactive and communicative classroom instruction, there are many field trips and guest speakers that encourage participation in the community.
In our LINC classes, students get the attention necessary to help them learn English as an additional language and use it in their daily lives. With emphasis on communication and
settlement, we produce competent and independent students that readily assimilate into Canadian society.
At our school, LINC students also work together with the teachers to make a newsletter every term. In the newsletter, students share their experiences and feelings about living in Canada. They also talk about things like field trips, activities and what they have learned after they have started living in Canada.
